Trivandrum Arrival

Arrive at Thiruvananthapuram Airport or railway station, where our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Kovalam, an internationally renowned beach destination with three adjacent crescent beaches. A massive rocky promontory creates a calm bay, making it ideal for sea bathing. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Kovalam | Trivandrum | Kovalam

After breakfast, embark on a half-day city tour of Trivandrum, Kerala’s charming capital. Situated on seven hills and bordered by the Arabian Sea, Trivandrum is known for its temples, museums, and scenic beaches. Visit iconic spots, including the Napier Museum, Sri Chithira Art Gallery, Zoo, Padmanabha Swami Temple, and the adjacent palace. In the afternoon, return to Kovalam, where you can relax by the beach, enjoy the lighthouse views, and watch the sunset.

Kovalam to Alleppey (5 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Alleppey, often called the “Venice of the East.” Upon arrival, board a traditional houseboat and cruise through the scenic backwaters, surrounded by paddy fields, lakes, narrow canals, and rivers. Experience village life and local culture, and enjoy delicious onboard meals.

Kumarakom

After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and transfer to a backwater resort in Kumarakom. Located on Vembanad Lake, Kumarakom is a tranquil cluster of islands known for its 14-acre bird sanctuary, a favorite spot for migratory birds. Spend the day at leisure, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and exploring activities like boating and fishing.

Kumarakom to Thekkady (4 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Thekkady, home to the renowned Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of India’s finest wildlife reserves. The scenic drive takes you through spice plantations, including vanilla, pepper, and cardamom. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake for an opportunity to spot wildlife in their natural habitat, followed by a visit to a local spice plantation.

Thekkady to Munnar (3 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Munnar, Kerala’s green paradise. Enjoy the scenic drive, passing waterfalls and misty mountains with clouds grazing their peaks. Check in to your hotel upon arrival, and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

After breakfast, explore Munnar’s famous tea gardens, which stretch like a lush green carpet over the hills. Visit main attractions including Raja Malai, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, Mattupetty Dam (an Indo-Swiss project), Echo Point, and Eravikulam National Park.

Munnar to Cochin (4 hrs)

After breakfast, transfer to Cochin, Kerala’s commercial capital, also known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea.” On arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, visit Marine Drive, a popular spot along the backwaters, and enjoy an optional sunset cruise.

After breakfast, set out on a half-day guided tour of Fort Kochi and Mattancherry. Major attractions include St. Francis Church, Vasco House, Santa Cruz Basilica, the Chinese fishing nets, the beach walkway in Fort Kochi, and the Jewish Synagogue, Palace, and Jew Town in Mattancherry. Spend the afternoon shopping or at leisure.
