Day 01

Calicut

Arrival at Calicut Airport, our representative will greet you at Cochin Airport and transfer to Calicut hotel. (Standard Check Time 2 pm). Overnight stay at Calicut hotel In the evening enjoy a relaxing visit to Kozhikode Beach to witness the sunset and experience the calm coastal atmosphere.

Day 02

Calicut - Wayanad

(Approx. 85 Km / 3 Hrs) After breakfast, check out and drive to the scenic hill station of Wayanad. En route, enjoy the picturesque landscapes of the Western Ghats. En route, enjoy the breathtaking views at Lakkidi View Point, visit the historic Chain Tree. Upon arrival, check in to your resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure amidst the tranquil surroundings.

Day 03

Wayanad Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Wayanad. Explore the ancient Edakkal Caves, enjoy a relaxing visit to Pookode Lake, admire the beauty of Meenmutty Waterfalls, and visit the historic Jain Temple. Return to the resort in the evening for an overnight stay in Wayanad.

Day 04

Wayanad – Kannur

(Approx. 115 km / 3.5 hrs) After breakfast, check out and drive to Kannur. Then proceed to visit the historic St. Angelo Fort overlooking the Arabian Sea. Later, relax at Payyambalam Beach, one of Kerala’s most beautiful beaches. Check in to the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 05

Kannur Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the cultural and natural attractions of Kannur. Visit Muzhappilangad Drive-in Beach, India’s longest drive-in beach. Continue to Arakkal Museum and Parassinikadavu Sri Muthappan Temple. Depending on the season, witness the vibrant Theyyam performances, a unique ritual art form of North Kerala.

Day 06

Kannur Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kannur Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey with wonderful memories of Kerala’s beaches, hills, culture, and heritage.

How does this differ from the North Kerala Scenic Trail?

Wonders of North Kerala is a shorter six-day circuit covering Calicut, Wayanad and Kannur. The Scenic Trail adds Bekal and its fort for a fuller eight-day journey through the north.

When can I see Theyyam in Kannur?

The Theyyam season runs roughly from October to May around temple festivals. We time the Kannur leg to maximise your chances, though performances depend on the local calendar and cannot be guaranteed.

Which airports does this tour use?

The tour begins at Calicut (Kozhikode) Airport and ends at Kannur Airport, both well connected for domestic flights, avoiding any backtracking.

What meals are included?

Daily breakfast and dinner are included throughout. Lunches are not included, leaving you free to sample Malabar cuisine.
