About this trip

A 7-day Royal Rajasthan adventure combining Jaipur’s Pink City heritage, a 4×4 leopard safari in the Aravalli hills of Jawai, the majestic Blue City of Jodhpur, and a camel caravan into the Thar Desert with an overnight stay at a traditional desert camp. 7 Days / 6 Nights — Jaipur · Jawai · Jodhpur · Jaisalmer.

In Jaipur, you explore the grandest monuments of the Pink City. The circuit covers the famous Amber Fort, the Hawa Mahal facade, Jantar Mantar, and the City Palace. Each site showcases a different facet of royal Rajasthan. Moreover, the city’s bazaars offer a vibrant window into everyday Rajput life.

Next, a 4×4 leopard and village safari takes you into the dramatic Jawai hills of the Aravallis. This is one of India’s most extraordinary leopard habitats outside a protected park. You come face to face with Rajasthan’s resident big cats in a truly wild setting. Additionally, the safari visits local Rabari herder villages for an authentic cultural encounter.

In Jodhpur, you explore the mighty Mehrangarh Fort, the elegant Jaswant Thada, and the grand Umaid Bhawan Palace. Then, the journey continues to Jaisalmer, where the UNESCO-listed Jaisalmer Fort, ornate merchant havelis, and the tranquil Gadisar Lake await. Finally, a camel caravan crosses the Sam Sand Dunes. As a result, a night in a desert camp under the stars brings the journey to a spectacular close.

The Royal Rajasthan Leopard Trails itinerary suits travellers who want to go beyond the standard Rajasthan circuit. The package covers 5 hotel nights on Bed & Breakfast basis plus 1 desert camp night with dinner, breakfast, and evening tea. In addition, it includes an AC sedan, local English-speaking guides in Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer, monument entrance fees, the Jawai leopard safari, the camel safari, and the folk dinner-dance.
