Three nights for the city tour – Tashi Viewpoint, Ganesh Tok, Enchey Monastery, the Do-Drul Chorten and the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology – plus the Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir excursion.
ITINERARY
Day 1 – NJP / Bagdogra to Darjeeling (90 km / 3 hrs)
Meet and greet on arrival and transfer to Darjeeling. Check in and relax; evening free at Chowrasta and Mall Road. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 2 – Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning Tiger Hill sunrise (subject to weather) via Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PN Zoological Park (closed Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, a tea garden, the Peace Pagoda and the Japanese Temple. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 3 – Darjeeling to Gangtok (100 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Gangtok. Check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 4 – Gangtok City Tour
After breakfast, visit Tashi Viewpoint, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Enchey Monastery, the Handicraft Centre, Banjhakri Falls, the Do-Drul Chorten and the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology. Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 5 – Gangtok: Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir
After breakfast, half-day trip to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and the New Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. Return to Gangtok; evening free. Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 6 – Gangtok to NJP / Bagdogra (125 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. Happy tour end.

What’s Included
The Darjeeling & Gangtok Classic is a relaxed half-board circuit, ideal for families and couples who prefer dinner included. It covers 5 nights of accommodation with daily breakfast and dinner, private transfers and sightseeing, and permits.
