Itinerary
On arrival at Leh airport meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Leh. Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel. Remainder of the day will be for rest, to acclimatize. In the late afternoon around 4 PM, drive to visit Shanti Stupa followed by a visit to Leh Palace. Post this visit Leh Market, here you can find almost everything including Himalayan Pashmina Shawls/Apricot Store/Tibetan Handicrafts/Ladakhi Ornaments/Rugs, Kashmiri Carpets etc. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel. Since you are reaching an altitude of 4000 meters approximately from 200 mtrs in just one hour's time, it is recommended to rest on the first day for body acclimatization.
In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar and Indus River). En-route visit Magnetic Hill and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib (constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak). On your way back, visit Ladakh Hall of Fame (Run by the Indian Army, this museum/war memorial houses weapons, history exhibits & a souvenir shop) followed by a visit to Spituk Monastery. Later come back to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel. (Imp note: Vehicle charges will be extra for visiting light & sound show at Hall of Fame in the evening)
Today after breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley (Hunder) via the World's Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass (18,380ft above sea level). On arrival at Nubra Valley (Hunder), check in at a comfortable camp/cottage and relax. After relaxing for a while, proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can also enjoy a camel ride here (on direct payment basis). Nubra Valley is popularly called the orchard of Ladakh, offering a graceful view of yellow and pink wild roses in summer. Thereafter come back to camp/cottage. Spend evening at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at the camp/cottage.
Morning after breakfast proceed for Diskit Monastery. Post the Diskit Monastery, proceed for backward journey to Pangong via Shayok. Pangong Lake is one of the major draws of the Leh-Ladakh valley, known for its pristine waters surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains. The long and narrow lake lies in the neighbourhood of the famous Chushul Mountains. In the evening check in to your camps at Pangong Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at the camps. (Approx Rs 4000/- for SUV & Rs 7000/- for Traveler extra for Warila Route - if Shayok route is closed)
In the morning have breakfast at your camp/cottage in Pangong. Thereafter, proceed for your journey back to Leh via Changla pass (approx. 155 kms one way). On the way visit Hemis Monastery. Later visit Thiksey Monastery & Shey Palace. Upon your arrival in Leh, you may enjoy the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Leave on time for Leh airport to board your flight to onward journey. Tour concludes here.

Enroute visiting Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, the Confluence of The Indus and Zanskar River, and Alchi Monastery - one of the most important gompas in Ladakh built in the 11th century. Impressive Likir gompa dates back to the 12th century. Visit Basgo, a former capital of Lower Ladakh, home to a ruined Ladakhi Royal Palace and monastery. After visiting the Monastery, continue your drive towards Kargil enroute visiting the 11th century Lamayuru Monastery and the mesmerizing Moon Landscapes, later drive to Kargil over Fatu-la (13,489 ft), the highest pass on Srinagar-Leh road. Upon arrival in Kargil check in at our Hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast visit Vijay Smarak (war memorial of Drass-Kargil). Here, you visit War memorial hall and Museum - also known as Vijay path. The memorial was constructed by the Indian Army in the memory of the soldiers and officers who laid their lives in the Kargil War. Later drive back to Leh (approx. 234 km). Reach Leh in the evening. Rest for the day.

After breakfast drive towards Turtuk, a border village that sits on the crossroad of the Himalayan and Karakoram ranges overlooking the Shyok river, home to the Balti tribe with its unique culture and tradition. The village was under Pakistani occupation until 1971. Atop the village you also get a view of the Pakistani side of the border. The place is known for quality apricots and sword dance performed on important occasions. Evening back to Nubra (80 kms/2-3 hours one way).

After breakfast at Pangong, drive to Hanle (Approx 175 Kms/6-7 Hrs) crossing Chushul Village and Tsaga La (15,200 Ft). Hanle is home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory, one of the highest located observatories in the world. The Hanle Monastery has an interesting history linked to King Singge Namgyal. Check in and overnight stay at Hanle.
After breakfast, drive from Hanle to Tsomoriri (Approx 130 Kms/4-5 Hrs) via Nurpa Pass (16,100 Ft) and Mahe Bridge. Tsomoriri Lake, situated at approx 14,000 ft, is a pristine high-altitude lake near Korzok village. Check in to camp/hotel at Korzok. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast at Korzok village, drive back to Leh via Tsokar and Taglangla (Approx 220 Kms/7-8 Hrs). En route visit Tsokar lake, home to nomadic Changpas, and the Puga Geo-thermal springs. Continue past the Rebo tents at Polo-Kongka pass and the Thukje village monastery before crossing Taglangla pass (approx 5,300m), one of the highest motorable passes. Arrive Leh and check in to hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight, carrying beautiful memories of the Ladakh Himalayas.
