ITINERARY
Day 1 – Guwahati to Bhalukpong
Meet and greet on arrival at Guwahati and drive to Bhalukpong on the Assam-Arunachal border. Overnight in Bhalukpong.
Day 2 – Bhalukpong to Dirang
After breakfast, drive to Dirang, visiting the Dirang Dzong and hot springs. Overnight in Dirang.
Day 3 – Dirang to Tawang via Sela Pass
After early breakfast, drive to Tawang over the spectacular Sela Pass (13,700 ft), stopping at Sela Lake and the Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 4 – Tawang Sightseeing
Visit the 400-year-old Tawang Monastery, the Tawang War Memorial and the Craft Centre; an excursion to Madhuri (Sangetsar) Lake is available (permit permitting). Overnight in Tawang.
Day 5 – Tawang to Bomdila
After breakfast, drive to Bomdila, visiting its monastery and viewpoints. Overnight in Bomdila.
Day 6 – Bomdila to Kaziranga
After breakfast, descend to the plains and drive to Kaziranga. Check in to your resort. Overnight in Kaziranga.
Day 7 – Kaziranga to Shillong
Morning jeep safari in Kaziranga (safari cost separate), then drive to Shillong via the Umiam Lake. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 8 – Shillong & Cherrapunjee excursion
Cherrapunjee day trip – Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave and the Seven Sisters Falls – returning to Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 9 – Shillong Sightseeing
Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak, Ward’s Lake and the Don Bosco Museum, with free time for shopping. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 10 – Shillong to Guwahati
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati and visit the Kamakhya Temple; evening at leisure. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 11 – Departure from Guwahati
After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati Airport / railway station for your onward journey. End of services.

The Arunachal, Tawang & Northeast Grand Explorer is our signature high-Himalaya expedition, combining Arunachal’s Tawang with Kaziranga and Meghalaya. It includes 10 nights of 3-star accommodation with daily breakfast, private transfers, sightseeing and permits. Rates start from Rs.33,050 per person (twin sharing, 6 pax) and Rs.52,000 for 2 pax.

Arunachal Pradesh requires an Inner Line Permit; the Madhuri Lake excursion and high passes are weather- and permit-dependent. Kaziranga safaris are subject to permits and park opening.
