Jaipur: The Pink City
In Jaipur, you explore some of India’s grandest Rajput heritage sites. The tour covers the magnificent Amber Fort, the iconic Hawa Mahal, and the stately City Palace. In addition, the circuit includes the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Jantar Mantar. Each site tells a different story of royal Rajasthan.
Ranthambore: Tiger Country
Two full jeep safaris traverse different zones of Ranthambore. This approach maximises your chances of spotting the Royal Bengal Tiger in the wild. Moreover, the park’s ancient ruins, blue lakes, and dense sal forests make every game drive unforgettable. We strongly recommend booking early, as the park limits daily safari slots.
Udaipur: City of Lakes
Next, the journey takes you to Udaipur — Rajasthan’s most romantic destination. You visit the City Palace Museum, Sahelion Ki Bari, and Jagdish Temple. Then, a golden-hour boat ride across Lake Pichola rounds off the sightseeing beautifully. As a result, you leave Udaipur with memories of shimmering lakes and majestic palace walls.
ITINERARY
Day 1 — Arrival in Jaipur
Arrive in Jaipur and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure — settle in, explore the neighbourhood, or take a gentle stroll through the Pink City’s bustling bazaars. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 2 — Jaipur Sightseeing: The Pink City
After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Begin with the magnificent Amber Fort, a striking blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture perched above Maota Lake. Continue to the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), the Jantar Mantar UNESCO-listed astronomical observatory, and the regal City Palace, still partly home to the Jaipur royal family. Afternoon at leisure to explore Jaipur’s famous markets for textiles, gems, and handicrafts. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 3 — Jaipur to Ranthambore
After breakfast, drive to Ranthambore National Park (approx. 3 hours). Check in to your jungle lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy your first jeep safari inside Ranthambore — one of India’s premier wildlife reserves and home to the Royal Bengal Tiger. The park’s ancient ruins, blue lakes, and dense sal forests make every drive an experience. Overnight at Ranthambore.
Day 4 — Morning Jeep Safari & Drive to Udaipur
Rise early for your second Ranthambore jeep safari, covering a different zone of the park to maximise your chances of wildlife encounters. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then begin the scenic drive to Udaipur (approx. 5–6 hours). Arrive and check in to your hotel. Evening at leisure to explore the lakeside city. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 5 — Udaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Udaipur — Rajasthan’s most romantic city. Visit the magnificent City Palace Museum, a labyrinth of royal courtyards, galleries, and terraces overlooking Lake Pichola. Explore the beautiful Sahelion Ki Bari (Garden of the Maidens) and the ornate Jagdish Temple. In the late afternoon, take a golden-hour boat ride across Lake Pichola, with views of the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 6 — Udaipur at Leisure
Day at leisure in Udaipur. You may choose to explore the old city bazaars, visit the Vintage Car Museum, or simply relax by the lake. Your guide or hotel concierge can arrange optional activities. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 7 — Departure from Udaipur
After breakfast, transfer to Udaipur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Your Royal Rajasthan Tiger Trails adventure concludes — with memories of grand palaces, jungle safaris, and lakeside sunsets.
