ITINERARY
Day 1 – Guwahati to Kaziranga
Meet and greet on arrival at Guwahati and drive to Kaziranga. Check in to your resort. Overnight in Kaziranga.
Day 2 – Kaziranga Safaris
Morning jeep safari for rhinos, elephants and swamp deer (safari cost separate); afternoon at leisure or an optional second safari. Overnight in Kaziranga.
Day 3 – Kaziranga to Shillong
After breakfast, drive to Shillong. En route, stop at the Umiam (Barapani) Lake. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 4 – Shillong Sightseeing
Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak (permit permitting), Ward’s Lake, the Cathedral and the Don Bosco Museum of Indigenous Cultures. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 5 – Shillong to Cherrapunjee
After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee – Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave and the Seven Sisters Falls. Overnight in Cherrapunjee.
Day 6 – Cherrapunjee to Mawlynnong & Dawki region
After breakfast, drive to the Mawlynnong area, visiting Asia’s cleanest village, the living root bridge and the balancing rock, with a stop at the Umngot River in Dawki. Overnight near Mawlynnong / Pynursla.
Day 7 – Mawlynnong to Guwahati
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati. On arrival, visit the Kamakhya Temple; evening Brahmaputra river cruise (optional). Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 8 – Guwahati at Leisure
A relaxed day in Guwahati for local sightseeing and shopping, or an optional excursion. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 9 – Departure from Guwahati
After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati Airport / railway station for your onward journey. End of services.
